I converted “Silver Spurs” to run 195% Ethyl alcohol from a 250 gallon 8" column still I built, using the grain being fed to the cows. At 112 octane burning in that 6-cyl, 235ci engine (with a few modifications), was proof that an internal combustion engine can run on pure ethyl alcohol. With NO pollution!
Alternative Fuel Research is my passion.. After the alcohol adventure came Research& Development into BioDiesel from “Waste Vegetable Oil” in Portland, OR. 1997 with a group called GoBiodiesel Co-Op.
